Chaz Bundick aka Toro y Moi made his debut back in 2010 with ‘CauserS of Thi.’ Now 9 years later, the dreamy pop producer has his sixth studio album under his belt with today’s release of ‘Outer Peace’.
After some years of travelling, Toro y Moi moved back to his home of Oakland, California where ‘Outer Peace’ would be written. Over the course of a few weeks, the project was finished and the outcome is another dreamy, synth pop record from the 32 year-old. The chillwave producer sticks to his guns across the 10 track project with the sound we’ve come to love from Toro y Moi.
Just three features come from the album, opting to not go with the big names but instead artist that fit his style. Awful records songstress ABRA, New York indie-pop duo Wet and Philly lo-fi electronic producer Instupendo round off the hat-trick of features on ‘Outer Peace’.
There’s no doubt ‘Outer Peace’ is an album to stream on a summers afternoon, stream it down below.
